Works have now concluded for the construction and fit-out of the new BMW Group Logistics Hall in Plant Swindon. Lysander provided Construction Management services supporting Drees & Sommer as Project Manager and Glencar Construction as the Design and Build Contractor. The new logistics hall provides 9,400 sq. m. of storage, handling and operating space to supply BMW’s production facilities. The project also included the construction and fit-out of the Press Shop offices which provides welfare facilities for staff as well as an improved Visitors Centre. All works took place within the live manufacturing environment.
