A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, James founded Lysander in 2001 along with Neil Taylor. James' area of expertise is in providing strategic Project Management and Cost Consultancy advice to clients in the Records Management sector.
Tim RolesJoint Managing Director
Tim is a Chartered Building Surveyor who joined Lysander in 2015 having previously worked for Gazeley, The Arcadis Group and BNP Paribas. Tim specialises in Development & Fund Monitoring.
Richard MayJoint Managing Director
A Chartered Building Surveyor & Chartered Project Manager, Richard joined Lysander in 2016. Richard has a wealth of experience across the public, commercial and private sectors and specialises in High End Residential.
Nils WiesenmüllerManaging Director Germany
Nils is the Director in charge of the Lysander team based in Berlin, Germany. He has extensive experience in architectural design, project management and construction management.
Matthew joined Lysander in 2015 and is an experienced Project Manager. He has a successful track record of delivering from concept through to sale of new build commercial, retail, mixed and refurbishment projects.
A chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Project Manager, Simon's appointment further strengthens our building surveying and development monitoring offering to Investors, Developers and Occupiers.
An experienced Project Manager, Paul joined Lysander in 2018 having previously worked for Henry Riley. Paul has a reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget for a wide range of clients.

A Chartered Construction Manager and member of the Association of Project Managers, Tim has national and international experience in all sectors of construction.
Steve is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and experienced Project Manager. He has experience in delivering projects in the Warehouse & Logistics and Education sectors.
A chartered property & construction professional, Pete has over 18 years project and cost management experience. Pete previously worked for Arambol LLP and Monaghans.
A Chartered Building Surveyor, Alan has many years of experience in the construction industry. He previously worked for a global commercial construction company and as a main building contractor while running his own family business.
Jonathan MephamSenior Project Manager
An experienced Civil Engineer and Project Manager, Jonathan has worked for Lysander since it was founded in 2001. Jonathan has worked extensively on projects for Iron Mountain and Amazon.
Jonathan FriendSenior Project Manager
Jonathan is an experienced Project Manager who worked at Riley Consulting before joining Lysander. Jonathan is based in Newcastle and specialises in Due Diligence and Pre-Construction work.
Paul BatkinSenior Project Manager
Paul has over 30 years construction experience and specialises in Value Engineering, Cost Management and Contract Administration. He has extensive experience of the Manufacturing and Distribution sector.
Ryan PortSenior Project Manager
An experienced Project Manager, Ryan has a degree in Commercial Management. He has strong Programme, Project and Cost Management skills and is experienced in new build, fit-outs and extensions.
Joe EdwardsSenior Project Manager
Joe studied Environmental Engineering and has a Masters in Engineering. He joined Lysander in 2016 and has extensive knowledge and experience of remedial technologies having worked on many sites across the UK and abroad.
Scott WellsSenior Project Manager
Scott studied Architecture at University and worked for a number of architectural practices before making the decision to retrain as a Building Surveyor. Scott has architectural flare and an eye for detail.
Kevin RooneySenior Project Manager
Kevin joined Lysander's High-End Residential team in 2020. An experienced Project Manager and skilled Architectural Design professional, Kevin has worked with a range of clients including The Wellcome Trust and The Crown Estate.

Dominic has extensive Project Management experience and is based in our Newcastle office. Dominic joined Lysander in 2020 having previously worked for Ward Robinson.

Based in Newcastle, Greg joined the Lysander Cost Management team in June 2021. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor he has worked with clients across a wide variety of sectors; from banking and investments to serviced office providers.

Michael has over 23 years’ experience managing, delivering and consulting on international construction and infrastructure development projects from inception to completion. He joins Lysander following an exemplary career in the British Army.
Callum JacksonProject Manager
Callum joined Lysander as a Graduate Project Manager having studied Building Surveying at Nottingham Trent University. On completion of his degree, he worked for the Wernick Group for 5 years.
Jeremy DeanProject Manager
Jeremy is an experienced Project Manager. Prior to joining Lysander, Jeremy worked at Ikon Consultants on a range of projects across the Residential, Education and Commercial sectors.
Darius HodgesProject Manager
An experienced Chartered Construction Manager responsible for delivering engineered innovative solutions. Expertise includes working for clients and contractors from development inception through to project handover.
Michael DrydenProject Manager
Michael is based in our Newcastle office. Prior to joining Lysander, Michael served in the Royal Engineers for 15 years delivering construction projects in Kenya, The Falkland Islands and Afghanistan.
Lina MadsenProject Manager
Lina joined the Lysander project management team in 2021. With a Bachelor's degree and Masters in Architecture, Lina is a creative and resourceful professional. Her expertise includes the commercial property sector, specialising in the transport and logistics area.
Grahame BakerProject Manager
Grahame is a highly experienced project manager with over 40 years' experience. He has worked extensively in the retail sector and has a proven track record of delivering new builds, conversions and refurbishments on time and on budget.

Ollie recently completed his degree in Construction Management. Ollie continues to build his project management skills across the logistics and residential sectors.

Wayne is as a Junior Cost Manager and is based in the Newcastle office. His experience includes acting as both contract administrator & cost manager on a number of large-scale university projects.
Emma CartwrightJunior Project Manager
Emma works in the High End Residential team and has a degree in Psychology. Emma worked in Marketing for 10 years and is also a Life Coach with an advanced NLP Diploma.
Charlie ShanksJunior Project Manager
Charlie joins Lysander having graduated with a degree in Project Management for Construction from UCL, and is currently finishing a Masters in Law from the University of Law. During his time at university, he provided legal advice pro bono at the university’s Legal Clinic.
Rowan RoachJunior Project Manager
Rowan joined Lysander after graduating from Loughborough University's Civil Engineering programme. He has experience as an undergraduate Civil Engineer and as a Property Administrator.
Louise GoodmanFinancial Coordinator
Louise joined Lysander in 2013 and looks after the day to day finances of the business. Prior to joining Lysander, Louise worked in the retail sector having studied Graphic Design.
Bradley EustaceFinance Assistant
Bradley joined the finance team in 2021 and provides assistance for the day to day finances of the business. Bradley studied Business Management with Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Trent University.
Lisa DaveyBusiness Support Manager & PA
Lisa joined Lysander in May 2021, to provide support to the Managing Directors and the growing business. Lisa brings many years’ experience supporting executives in a wide range of industries.
Charlotte SomersAdmin Assistant
Charlotte joined Lysander in 2020 and provides admin support across the business. Charlotte worked in sales before joining Lysander.
Ruth SibleyAdmin Assistant
Ruth provides administration support to the Newcastle team. She has 14 years of experience in administration, previously working for a national stockbroker and a consultant engineering company.
Carrie GuyTraining Consultant
Carrie is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with over 10 years' postgraduate experience. Carrie has worked in a variety of sectors including Education and Housing and joins us from Ridge & Partners LLP.
